2024.R1 release communication

With recent releases, we have enabled new features incrementally and announced new software versions in the release notes.

Final removal of Digital Twin Registry API (v1) and generated classes in the client libraries

As previously announced, the Digital Twin Registry API (v1) got deprecated. From now on, it is not available anymore.

Final removal of AAS v1 API

The outdated AAS v1 API for managing Asset Administration Shells has been deprecated and is not available anymore.

Use our Catena-X certified implementation of the AAS v3.0 instead:

Online documentation update for detailing Asset Administration Shell

The Asset Administration Shell part of our documentation has been updated to capture the latest changes.

Aspect Model Catalog

Includes: AMC-2.5.0, AMC-2.6.0

Update of the search functionality for Aspect Models and namespaces

The search functionality has been updated to allow filtering based on the following criteria:

  • state

  • latest

Also, a performance optimization has been implemented to improve the search speed for namespaces in the Aspect Model Catalog.

Added link in the Aspect Model Catalog UI for getting generated JSON sample values of an Aspect Model

From now on, you can generate and download JSON sample values for your Aspect Models in the Aspect Model Catalog.

Introduction of circuit breaker pattern

This feature has been implemented to protect the Bosch Semantic Stack infrastructure. By that, the overhead generated when the database is too loaded gets reduced.
