Check the sample DPP configuration
The setup wizard creates a sample DPP configuration. It connects a material number and its product shells to the data selected for the DPP. You can review its content.
-
In Configuration, find the sample entry by the material number shown in the setup results or provided by your Databricks app administrator.
-
Open the entry and check its product and organization details:
-
Material Number identifies the product configuration. Products with the same material number use this configuration.
-
Economic Operator ID identifies the responsible economic operator.
-
Facility ID identifies the manufacturing facility.
-
Shell group links the product shells and their Submodels in the Digital Twin Registry.
-
-
Review the Submodels list. Each submodel represents a category of product data and comes from a Submodel API. Examples include:
-
Digital Nameplate contains product identity and manufacturer information.
-
Technical Data contains product specifications.
-
Carbon Footprint contains environmental impact data.
-
Aspect URN identifies an Aspect Model and its version.
Check the URNs against the shell and the Aspect Model Catalog. Your sample may include different Submodels.
-
-
Check the Private setting for each Submodel. Leave it off for data you want to show in the public DPP.
|
You cannot change the material number or Shell group after creation. If the sample configuration is missing, ask your Databricks app administrator to confirm that setup completed. |
|
Use only data approved for public demonstration. The Private setting excludes a Submodel from the DPP, but it does not protect data served by an unprotected endpoint. |
Checkpoint: You confirmed the sample configuration’s product identifiers, organization details, Shell group, and selected Submodels. The demo is complete when the public reader displays the expected product data and you have verified the configuration.

Ask your Databricks app administrator to check the app’s connection to the Digital Twin Registry and its Shell-group permissions. A failed create does not save the configuration; a failed delete keeps it. |
