Search

Product Explorer provides two search options — basic and advanced.

Instead of a drill-down, Product Explorer also allows a direct search for different objects on the start page. The current search options are:

  • Quality complaints

  • Part

  • Batch

  • Product Types

  • Product Instance

  • Product

  • Plant

  • Location

  • Material

  • Work center (line)

  • Work unit (station)

  • Work cell

Using the search option it is possible to get faster to the required information directly.
The search bar can be found on the Overview page.

DigitalCV Overview Search

  1. Choose a Product Family in the drop-down menu on the start page.

  2. Select an object type, the default is Quality complaints.

  3. Enter a complete search term or parts into the Search For input field.

  4. To start the search click Submit or press Return.

In addition to the standard search, Product Explorer also provides an advanced search functionality, which enables you to search for items based on advanced parameters specific to the items you are looking for.

To use the advanced search, click Try enhanced search on the Overview page and follow the next steps:

  1. Select an item type from the drop-down menu.
    Based on what item you search for, the parameter fields will be different. In the example below Quality Complaint has been selected.

  2. Fill in search parameter(s).

  3. Click Submit to have your search results displayed.
